In 1926, radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches the latest rage—until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court.

We are looking for ten performers, for five female identifying roles and five male identifying roles. Eight of the performers will be playing multiple characters throughout the show, some old and some young. Grace Fryer will need to be 20s – 30s and Arthur Roeder will need to be 30s-40s.

Auditions will consist of a prepared monologue from the play. You do not need to memorize the monologue. There are two choices below. Please make sure to read the instructions, as you will be preparing the piece in three separate ways.”

 Monologue One: Grace

 Monologue Two: Roeder

There will also be short readings from the script.
