While the script suggests ages of all characters as mid-to-late 30’s, the producers of this production will be looking to cast two couples of comparable age who they feel present believable pairings.

THOMAS DEVEREUX ~ An architect/real estate developer. He is observant and efficient, often coming across cold and controlling.

JOAN DEVEREAUX ~ Thomas’ wife. Somewhat skittish and frequently absent-minded. Charming, but distracted.

CAROLYN SYMONS ~ A former high-powered executive who is recovering from a mild breakdown. Recently left her job in order to focus on her health and her family. Smart, outgoing, seemingly has her life together despite her recent episode.

JEFF SYMONS ~ Carolyn’s husband. An undefined business consultant. Witty and personable, he’s uneasy about his own place in life.

“Murder In Green Meadows” contains moments of physicality of both an intimate and violent nature. Trained consultants will be assisting with the production but actors must be comfortable with these elements if they plan to audition.
