Nominations for QP Officers 2020-21 Season

Nominating Committee for 2020-21 Season:

Judy Forgione, Jenny Fielding, and Heather Gay are nominating the following for the QP Officer positions: 

J. Mark Baumhardt – President

Mark has been a QP member since 2005, and a BOD member for the past three seasons. He has designed sound and also produced several QP shows. His most recent credits include Mothers and Sons and Silent Sky. As a QP Director his productions have been nominated and have won awards – Becky’s New Car (DASH Production Winner) and Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (EMACT Festival Winner). His most recent QP directorial credit was Lion in Winter. He has appeared on the QP stage in many shows too including DASH Award Winning True West. Mark is an active as a director at Vokes and The Umbrella recently. He also served as the EMACT DASH Director from 2012 – 2017, and helped launch the DASH Plus program.

Ron Wackowski – Vice President

Ron has served as QP President ( 2009, 2010, 2016 and 2017) . He knows he has been a member since before he married Kathy! Ron is also an actor and director. His first director credit at QP was I Hate Hamlet in 1993. He dealt with the mess of removing the old balcony and constructing the current one at the same time rehearsing and he took the show to the EMACT Festival at Brandeis that year for one of the scariest sword fights ever! Ron’s most recent QP roles include the Teacher in Suburban Holidays ‘Emu’ play this season and directing The Porch in 2017. Ron has served as VP before, as well as Volunteer Coordinator, as a member of the Play Reading Committee, and has run lights, sound, Stage Managed and helped coordinate Tickets.

Brian Sensale – Treasurer

Brian’s introduction to QP was coming to support an auditioner for the 1999 QP production of It Runs in the Family. He got cast instead! He is currently QP’s longest serving Treasurer (since 2001). His was one of the initial signatures required for QP’s addition loan. He has designed sets or worked on a number of shows at QP. His most recent roles incluude Taking Steps and Romeo & Juliet when the pandemic allows! When not dealing with QP numbers or acting, he has served on QP Play Reading Committees, most recently last season. And Brian is the head Snowman coordinating our Snowboy shoveling brigade – thankful it was not a white winter this year!

Phyllis Uloth – Secretary

Phyllis has served as QP’s Secretary or been on the QP BOD for most of her time at QP – at least 17 years. She joined QP in 1991 with a role in the Octette Bridge Club which is one of her favorites. Phyllis is currently QP Secretary and coordinates Volunteers as well, getting all the parkers, ushers and refreshers. She has also served on QP Play Reading Committees, helped coordinate and has run Box Office, produced many shows, run crew, dressed actors, run properties, designed hair and makeup, worked set, publicity, run rehearsals and pretty much whatever someone asks her to do! Phyllis has been also been active with AFD in a number of shows including the role of Cinderella’s Mother in Into the Woods which she also did at QP!
