BARD vs BARD

Jon Sachs and William Shakespeare or  BARD vs BARD

One Bard with his dulcet stylings known as Uncle Jon – aka Jon Sachs  – who writes and performs his songs when not photographing QP shows! http://unclejonsongs.com/index.html

And cast members from QP’s Romeo and Juliet performing  a few iconic scenes that include a balcony, Queen Mab,  as well as a few swinging rapiers by that 16th century bard called Shakespeare!

QP is very happy to be able to produce live theater once again. It is a bit unusual to be performing on our front porch, but it is part of our commitment to keep the arts alive and available to our patrons, actors, and designers while acknowledging the gravity of the Covid-19 pandemic facing our communities.

For those of you who attended Reading’s 375th PorchFest you will remember Jon Sachs aka Uncle Jon singing many of his original songs on our porch.  We have brought him back by popular demand!

And we are very excited to be able to do a few scenes from Romeo & Juliet that was scheduled to open just as we had to shut down.   The show will go on when we can put it on, but for now we hope you can enjoy a brief teaser with our amazing cast!

Running time 70 minutes with no intermission.

Reservations are required – email qpboxoffice@gmail.com or call (781) 942-2212.  These performance are FREE but we encourage our audience to look for QR code donation stations at the theater parking lot and give what you can.

Or choose the DONATE Button here on our webpage.

We are committed to keeping our audience and cast safe!

Special Thanks to Harrow’s Chicken Pies for generous use of their parking!
