Nominating Committee for 2015-16 Season: Judy Forgione, Gordon Ellis, Marianne Uttam
The following are bios for the nominating committee’s nominees for the Board of Directors. Nominations from the floor for Officer and Director at Large positions (3) to be made at QP General Meeting 1MAY2015.
Donna Corbett — President
Donna is willing to return next season as QP President. She has been a QP Member for over 35 years and considers it ‘the other home,’ because this is where she met the love of her life – Hugh – and where they played. She was awarded QP Life Membership in 1994 where she has done and tries to continue to whatever is needed – except for Sound Design! Some of her awards include Best Director, Set Designer, Stage Manager for NETC and EMACT. She has directed and worked with other local community theaters over years. She has been QP President seven times so far.
Barbara Dempsey-West — Vice President
Barbara is also willing to return next season as QP Vice President. She has been a member of QP since she came to QP with a friend for an audition in 1976. Beginning with that first role as Evie in Stop the World I Want to Get Off, Barbara has performed in many plays and musicals at QP over the years, and in addition she has served on a number of QP BODs. When not on stage, Barbara has done Props, makeup, sold tickets, ushered and refreshed, pulled weeds, and even Stage Managed.
Brian Sensale — Treasurer
Brian’s introduction to QP was when he came in the 1999 QP production of It Runs in the Family. He has appeared in, designed or worked on a number of shows at QP since, most recently in Of Mice and Men. When not dealing with QP numbers, he has been on QP Play Reading Committees and is the head Snowman for our Snow-boy shoveling brigade! Brian has served as QP Treasurer he believes since the turn of the century and thankfully he is willing to keep the role again.
Kerry Anne Kilkelly — Secretary
Kerry Anne has served two years as QP’s Secretary and is willing to carry on this role for yet another season. Kerry Anne has also taken on a culinary role at QP doing the Opening Night Parties. As chef extraordinaire she has been creating theme fete’s for the cast and crew for each production this season. She has been a QP Producer, a QP BOB and has graced the QP stage in a number of productions, most recently Comic Potential.
