Another exceptional farce by the talented playwright Ken Ludwig who brought us Lend Me a Tenor! This hilarious backstage farce follows the antics of the Charlotte and George Hay, two seasoned performers currently doing repertoire in Buffalo, New York in 1953. Charlotte and George have just found out they’ve been given a shot at starring roles in an upcoming Frank Capra film. But will George be sober enough to perform? Will Charlotte appear or run off with her agent? Will Capra see Cyrano de Bergerac, Private Lives, or maybe a mix of the two? Hilarious misunderstandings pile on madcap misadventures, in this valentine to the theater hams everywhere.
